Notification of registration as a charity
The Green Offsets Foundation of Canada (GOF) is pleased to confirm that the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has registered GOF as a charity under the Income Tax Act.
Our CRA registered charity number is 78744 3019 RR0001 and the effective date of registration is January 20, 2026.
GOF exists to protect the environment for the benefit of the public by providing funds to support municipally-approved zero-emission public transit programs (including vehicles and directly related supporting infrastructure) to eligible Canadian municipalities or municipally controlled transit authorities.
Donations to GOF are eligible for official donation receipts, where permitted by CRA rules. GOF is committed to transparency, compliance, and measurable climate impact.
