Reaching For Zero, Ltd. Welcomes Elizabeth May, P.C., M.P., to its Advisory Board
Reaching For Zero, Ltd. — the sister company and original creator of The Green Offsets Foundation of Canada — is pleased to announce that Elizabeth May, P.C., M.P., has joined its Advisory Board.
Reaching For Zero, Ltd. (Reaching For Zero) develops practical, engineering-based solutions to accelerate the transition to a zero-emissions future. The Green Offsets Foundation of Canada (GOF) was created by Reaching For Zero to help Canadians connect their everyday emissions to tangible climate solutions, beginning with support for zero-emission transit.
Elizabeth May, P.C., M.P., brings decades of experience in environmental policy, climate advocacy, and public service. Her deep understanding of climate science, governance, and the policy landscape will help Reaching For Zero navigate the complex intersection of technology, regulation, and public interest.
In joining the Advisory Board, Ms. May will provide non-binding, strategic advice to Reaching For Zero on matters such as long-term climate risk, the integrity of proposed solutions, and the importance of aligning private initiatives with credible national and international climate goals. Her role is advisory and independent, and she joins in her personal capacity.
For The Green Offsets Foundation of Canada, this appointment strengthens the link between its charitable mission and the broader work of Reaching For Zero. Reaching For Zero’s technical and project-development work informs GOF’s offset priorities, while GOF focuses on public awareness and voluntary funding of high-impact climate projects. The addition of Elizabeth May to Reaching For Zero’s Advisory Board reinforces the shared commitment of both organizations to evidence-based, transparent, and effective climate action.
Reaching For Zero and The Green Offsets Foundation of Canada look forward to working with Ms. May as they continue to develop and communicate practical pathways for turning emissions into solutions.
